Del Malam brings a unique blend of discipline, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial success to his current role leading the Rebuild Redington group. A former Police Officer in the UK, Del honed his problem-solving and negotiation skills on the force. Following his distinguished service, he transitioned to Florida, where he founded and built a highly successful .com business. This venture thrived, allowing Del to achieve early retirement in his 40s after its sale.
This newfound freedom enabled Del to dedicate his time and expertise to his community when Hurricane Helene devastated Florida’s Gulf Coast. As one of the founding members of the rapidly growing, “Rebuild Redingtons Group”, Del is committed to assisting homeowners in navigating the complex rebuilding process.
His primary focus is to negotiate the best possible deals for homeowners in every aspect of their build, leveraging his extensive business acumen to ensure efficiency and optimal outcomes for those recovering from the disaster.
As an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, Leslie Malam has lead teams focused on organizational effectiveness and customer and employee engagement, impacting companies around the world. Her corporate career closed in early 2024 when she left her role as an executive with The Walt Disney Company to found her own consulting firm. This timing was perfectly aligned to enable her to pivot to supporting the Rebuild Redington community when the storms hit!
Leslie’s focus is on supporting community members through helping them navigate the complexities of the home loss and rebuilding process. She is leveraging her coaching, leadership, project management and corporate organizational skills to ensure a smooth, well-informed experience for all of our Florida Steel Homes homeowners.
On a personal level, having been born and raised in Florida (4th generation Floridian!), Leslie is passionate about ensuring that everyone is able to stay in their Florida homes safely and securely.
Ryan and Aly Kirby are the founders of Kirb Appeal Homes, launched in 2018 with a shared mission to bring compassion, discipline, and a personal touch to the real estate experience. High school sweethearts and proud University of Florida alumni, Ryan and Aly bought their first home in Seminole, FL, and quickly saw the need for a higher standard of care in the industry. Since then, they’ve helped over 300 families with everything from new construction and renovations to short- and long-term rentals.
A chance call led them to Del and Leslie during their home purchase in Redington Beach—a connection that evolved from clients to close friends and trusted business partners. Together, they’ve completed multiple real estate portfolio projects over the past 7 years. Ryan and Aly are proud to collaborate with such forward-thinking partners and are committed to helping local homeowners enjoy the beauty of Florida’s coastal lifestyle with confidence and peace of mind.
Jennifer Lento is Floridian now, having made her permanent residence here over 20 years ago when she left Kenosha, Wisconsin for warmer weather and waters. She originally settled in central Florida, then moved to the waterfront on the Alafia River leading out to Tampa Bay and now lives on the West coast of Florida.
She understands the stress of living on the waterfront, having been the first zone evacuated in every hurricane that came through. Her professional background gives her vast knowledge in every aspect you could be faced with, with over 30 years of extensive construction and real estate experience as owner in construction and home inspection business, property investor rehabber/flipper, kitchen and bathroom design and sales, Construction Project Manager in both residential and commercial positions, and Mortgage Branch Manager. This woman has put roofs on homes and plumbed houses personally! She knows the business inside and out. She attended Concordia University and finished her degree in Business Management at Concordia University.
