Del Malam brings a unique blend of discipline, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial success to his current role leading the Rebuild Redington group. A former Police Officer in the UK, Del honed his problem-solving and negotiation skills on the force. Following his distinguished service, he transitioned to Florida, where he founded and built a highly successful .com business. This venture thrived, allowing Del to achieve early retirement in his 40s after its sale.
This newfound freedom enabled Del to dedicate his time and expertise to his community when Hurricane Helene devastated Florida’s Gulf Coast. As one of the founding members of the rapidly growing, “Rebuild Redingtons Group”, Del is committed to assisting homeowners in navigating the complex rebuilding process.
His primary focus is to negotiate the best possible deals for homeowners in every aspect of their build, leveraging his extensive business acumen to ensure efficiency and optimal outcomes for those recovering from the disaster.
As an Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, Leslie Malam has lead teams focused on organizational effectiveness and customer and employee engagement, impacting companies around the world. Her corporate career closed in early 2024 when she left her role as an executive with The Walt Disney Company to found her own consulting firm. This timing was perfectly aligned to enable her to pivot to supporting the Rebuild Redington community when the storms hit!
Leslie’s focus is on supporting community members through helping them navigate the complexities of the home loss and rebuilding process. She is leveraging her coaching, leadership, project management and corporate organizational skills to ensure a smooth, well-informed experience for all of our Florida Steel Homes homeowners.
On a personal level, having been born and raised in Florida (4th generation Floridian!), Leslie is passionate about ensuring that everyone is able to stay in their Florida homes safely and securely.
